Dr. Richard Chan is the attending neurosurgeon at the Royal Columbian Hospital, Eagle Ridge hospital, Surrey Memorial Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital. He is a member of our Surgical Centre in Vancouver B.C.
He completed his medical degree with honours at the University of Texas, Health Sciences Centre Dallas and after completing a comprehensive surgical internship at the University of California, moved to Vancouver to finalize his neurosurgical training at the University of British Columbia. He also completed a Canadian Neurological Fellowship.
Dr. Chan has written and published twenty scientific papers and is an active participant of continuing medical education in contemporary neurosurgery. In addition, he is a Diplomat of the American Board of Neurological Surgeons.
