Hello
I have had an MRI and ( I have my own CD) the letter says I have -- Obliquely-oriented tear involving the posterior horn of the medial meniscus extending to the inferior articular surface with a ting adjacent parameniscal cyst. In Dec. I was told by a surgeon the wait was apprx. 4 months. I called yesterday and was told the surgeon should have said 6 months, and they don't have a lot of hospital hours for this type of surgery in June July and Aug. I would like to know how soon and the cost of such a surgery would be.
Thanks Pat

I would like to know the same thing I guess. I am approximately 145lbs. My breasts are not very attractive at all. They are very small and have some stretched skin. I used to have nice breasts before I had children. i wear padded bras and dont feel very good about my breasts at all. i feel as though I had lost my feminine body. i would like to be a full size B/C, I would also like to know how much and how long for the healing time. Please note I am really interested. My boyfriend and I have been talking about it for a few months and have been surfing the net and looking at images and some of the work that has transformed breasts. Please advise.

I am a 52 year old teacher and have been diagnosed with moderate/severe osteoarthritis in all the compartments of both knees by way of x-rays. It began 2 years ago and has come on with a vengeance of late. This week I was sent off to the hospital by our staff first aid person as she thought I had torn a ligament or tendon or perhaps fractured something in my knee. I couldn't put any weight on my left leg at all. It was extremely painful and it felt like something in my knee had popped out of place. They took x-rays at the hospital and also drew some fluid from knee to see if there was an infection. My knee was quite swollen and hot with inflammation. As well, my left foot has been puffy since this past summer. Today I saw my family doctor again and he said it's just something that comes with age and all I can do for now is stay off of it, take Celebrex and Tylenol Arthritis and ice it. I am waiting to see a specialist but have been told it will likely take months. What can your clinic do for me and what are the costs involved? I don't want to wait much longer as it just keeps getting worse. Thanks!

I have an inguinal hernia, 2-3 inches in visible length when it protrudes. I have known of it for a little more than two years, and while it has not usually bothered me, for the past 10 days it has been noticeably sore all the time, which prevents any activity more strenuous than walking. What is the approximate cost of a repair and how soon could it be done. I live in Kelowna and will be in Vancouver at some point next week. Thank you for your assistance.

My father received a partial knee replacement about 6 years ago but now is suffering from stiffness, infection within the joint and ultimately pain. He has seen a specialist in Vancouver regarding the infection and his family doctor has recommended that a total replacement will be necessary. To get the surgery using regular Medical, will take anywhere from 8 months to who knows. My father is 83 years old and the longer he is suffering the more his total health is suffering due to the pain from his knee and limited mobility. I am requesting correspondence on his behalf (he lives in Osoyoos without internet) to try to determine if this clinic can be of greater assistance. Thank you. Andrew
