I am trying to find a place in Canada to have a gastric sleeve procedure done, I live in a very remote northern community and will need to travel to do so but am having trouble finding information on costs, doctors or clinics that are able to do this etc. If anyone has any information on this for me I would very much appreciate any help I can get.
    Sincerely;
    Dannette

I have been diagnosed with AFib. What can your clinic do to correct this problem..
I have been advised about ablation and cardioversion, however physicians involved seem reluctant to recommend a treatment. I am currrently on medication that seems to work.
I am concerned as to developing tolerence to pharmacueticals and therefore my question is.. Can I come and see you?

In looking for more information on CCSVI testing, and the procedure itself I would like to comment on how relieved I was to get such clear and honest information from Jenna today.
I am very excited about having the testing done at your clinic, and the background of those involved.
    Kudos to you Jenna.

I was reasently (Oct. 4, 2010) at False Creek Healcare Center getting a Dopler UltraSound and MRV. I misplaced the results from my Dopler UltraSound and would very much appreciate it if you could resend them to me. Thanks for your patience with me.

My daughter and I are going to False Creek on Nov. 2 when she will have the testing done for CCSVI. I wanted to know if it would be possible for me to have a Dopplar test done that day as well. My eye doctor has recommended that I have the Dopplar and she will be giving me a letter to that effect that I could either send to you before the 2nd or bring with me. I would really like to have this test done while I am there. Can you please let me know if this is possible and if it is, what do I need to do to book.

    Thank you
    Cathy

Do you do surgery for lichen schlerosis? My GYN will not look at this option, but I am seriously closing up and need to do something about it. I have been using Taro-betaderm cream 0.1% (betamethasone valerate 0.1%) for about a year now. What would this involve?

Do you do joint replacement surgery on great toe joints? My husband (who is 64) has arthritis in the great toe joint – when he walks, bone is rubbing against bone and it is extremely painful. He is scheduled to have a metal plate put in his foot (March 2011) to keep the joint from bending. My fear is that it’s just a band-aid solution that may cause another problem by re-routing pressure to another part of the foot. Because my husband can barely walk, he is getting no exercise. He is winded after walking (painfully) for only a few minutes. He is also a survivour of two strokes, and exercise has played an important role in the prevention of another stroke. Not only am I concerned that his health will deteriorate further while waiting for surgery, I would also like to be sure that the type of surgery is appropriate. Your reply would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am a 28yr old athelitc healthy male. I have recently hurt my elbow and I am inable to get any GP to send me for a ultrasound or mri. They all blow it off saying it’s just inflammation and say 3-6months no lifting. Thats all fine if I was a couch potato, but I am very active and this injury has confined me to the couch! When the injury occured I heard 2 loud distinctive “pops” form each side of my elbow, this was over a month ago now. I still have no strenght and pain in my elbow. I guess i need to know if this is something that would be worth me spending the money to come and see a Dr. at your clinic and approximate costs. Thank you for your time.

Help me get back to my passion,
    Matt Baillet

My father is in need of having a tumour removed off his pituitary gland when he gets back to Canada in early October. He just had his MRI done in Moscow Russia and has all the results regarding this tumour. Please advise because if you have this surgery, his private health care provider will need to speak with you directly. Thank you.

My husband is on the “urgent” list in Alberta for back surgery. His MRI, on July 21,2010, shows that he has a ruptured disc L5 S1 and the 2 above that are bulged. He has been suffering with back pain since 1995 – recently he has been experiencing pain down his right leg, numbness and tingling. Right now they tell us it will be a year wait – he is on a long acting morphine pill, indomethacin and gabapentene. We have a young family and it has been hard on our young kids. What would the wait time be if your clinic would do it? What are the costs for this kind of surgery? We are trying all different options. Thank you for taking the time to read this and if you had any answers or information it would be greatly appreciated. Denise Hodgson

    Hello,
I am interested in Hymenoplasty surgery, possible in conjuction with tightening of the vagina. I have an upcoming wedding that this would be important for. If you could give me some more information regarding costs and the soonest I could have this done that would be great.
    Thanks!
