I am a 57 year old female that requires a tonsillectomy. I have repeated bouts of throat infection nine or so a year. Non responsive to penicillin treatment anymore. It now requires broad spectrum antibiotics. I have crypts on both sides of my throat. The left one can not be manually cleaned out and impacts and infects. I am on a wait list for a tonsilectomy for over a year. I am wondering how much it would cost to have them removed and about post op care.

I received my MRI report from your health care centre.
This indicates that I need to see an ENT specialist. What is the cost of this?

I am a patient of Dr. Javer’s at SPH and I understand he also does sinus surgery at False Creek. On my last appt. in December he said I need a revision surgery in the ethmoids and frontal. Can you give me a rough approximation of the cost privately and also whether this cost is tax deductible? Thank you
